Need to update your SSL?

Do the following:

Login to WebsiteOS > Securities > SSL Manager
Generate a CSR
Ensure that you have an email address that is permitted to receive SSL Approval letter (i.e. admin@domain.tld/ ssladmin@domain.tld , for a full list of acceptable email addresses please see List of approved email addresses for approved SSL letter)
Once your CSR is created answer the following question, and follow the directions according to your answer: Did you have an active SSL on the legacy platform?

Contact your SSL Authority and request an SSL certificate re-issue using your newly generated CSR
Once the SSL Certificate has been re-issued , contact Technical Support via email (support@uplinkearthhosting.com) and request an update to your SSL be sure to include the SSL Certificate within the email.
After Technical Support receives your email, a ticket will be created to process your request. Once the request has been fulfilled you will be notified.

Set list of email addresses to which the approval email for this SSL Certificate may be sent. Do not deviate.

root@domain.tld

sysadmin@domain.tld
webmaster@domain.tld
info@domain.tld
is@domain.tld
it@domain.tld
mis@domain.tld

postmaster@domain.tld
If it is a sub-domain, the above email addresses can be at the domain or the sub domain.
Alternatively you can use the administrative contact for the domain (found in the whois info).

Connecting with a FTP Client

After downloading your own FTP client, you require 3 pieces of information to connect through FTP.

Hostname/Address: domain.tld (.com, .org, .info .ca, etc) or IP address

Username: domain.tld (.com, .org, .info .ca, etc)

Password: domain password

Generic SSL

You have the option of using our free generic SSL certificate. You will not have to contact us to generate this certificate.

To set up the SSL generic certificate do the following:

Log into the websiteOS and select the "Use generic SSL Certificate (free) " radio button from the "SSL Manager" page
Click the "Next" button. You will be prompted to confirm installation.
Click the "Next" button to complete the operation. This will set up our generic SSL certificate on their domain. The result of operation will be displayed on the "SSL Manager" page. The result includes the name of the directories they have to use for secure content and a link to their secure site. The two directories are called "secure" and "secure-cgi-bin".

Secure content can be accessed at the following example:
https://secure25.securewebsession.com/yourdomain.tld

Why must I choose www.domain.tld or domain.tld in the Certificate Request?

Your domain consists of WWW (http://www.domain.tld) and blank (http://domain.tld) record. The SSL certificate can be installed only on one of the domains thus the selection between the two.
